new sc430
I currently have an 03 GS430 and today I just paid for a black/saddle 02 SC430...only 22,000 miles....the dealer told me that the guy who owned it started armor all...apparently he did not use the product on his own car (thank god haha). I will post pictures when I take delivery of it..the dealer won't let me take it because they had to special order the tires (it has 20 inch rims but they are lexus branded, im guessing they are from a dealer) because there is a bulge in one of them.. traded in the 04 Audi A4. It is really beautiful!

Great car! Love the lexus center caps on the custom wheels.
Black saddle is classy.
Any mods planned? 22k miles is GREAT...
Has the 30k service been done yet? (time has elapsed, not mileage obviously)
I'd recommend getting all the fluids/filters flushed, especially tranny, coolant, ps, brakes
A/C cabin and air filter are 30 second DIY projects.
May want to consider down the road timing belt water pump based on year as well, and spark plugs.
Great looking car! Congrats again

honestly i was so excited about this car I didn't even look up the service records.. I will have the dealer give those to me for the next oil change. But I did have a mechanic look over it and said everything was fine (except for the tires which got replaced). But I'll ask the opinion of the service department. I'm really not sure if any services have been done...though the engine runs smoother than my GS430 with 60k miles. Not that the GS runs badly at all
I do have a couple questions though...ON my GS, the touch screen for the nav does not show fingerprints at all (and the screen is a lot more viewable) however I noticed on the SC the fingerprints show up everywhere i touch and make it really hard to see the screen..and the screen gets extremely washed out in any kind of light, which on my gs it wasn't nearly as bad. Is there some kind of film it could be missing? GS is 03 SC is 02. I wonder if they made any changes to the actual screens between those model years.
Another thing for the sc, does anyone know a quick fix to stop the driver door from making a loud click noise (i don't know how else to describe it). It clicks really loud 2 or 3 times when opening/shutting the door, almost like a hinge is loose or something, it makes the door opening/shutting experience seem very cheap.

nice interior and rims.
the rims look like the TRD's and Lowenhart spoke style.
i'll be tough keeping a dark colored car clean in the constant weather changes in Montana, but I think you'll manage to do it.

Fortunately I have a pressure washer and a 135 psi air compressor in my garage that works great for cleaning out little rocks and dust that find their way into cracks...best thing for cleaning a car IMO
