Wink 2008 Sc430 Pebble Beach

I don't know if anybody is interested but I found a 2008 Pebble Beach edition advertised on Craigslist in Phoenix Az. for $35000.00!! I was looking for a beater convertible to drive down in Phoenix cuz we just bought a vacation home in Surprise Az. This is a bit more than we want to spend on a vaction car, (we already have 2 SC's here at home) but if it's legit maybe some one can scoop up a good deal!! Good luck!!

I think three would suit you fine. You would then be in a class probably all by yourself. I don't think too many people have three, not too many people have two. Go for it. lol

It would be nice to add to the fleet but we are going to sell the silver SC and put the money against the property in Arizona. The wife promised she would be happy driving the ES300 and I can have the SC, she won't bug me to take the convert! ( yeah rite! ) We are looking for a beater to drive down there when we go and keep it under $10 grand. ( if she has her way it will be under $5 grand! )

Just found the listing.. for anyone who is interested..car has been in an accident, but all the vin tags are there.

There is a 2 year gap in the service history.( Lexus.com).car has 46,000 miles. The 40K service has been done, but no other service .

Still sounds like a nice car-owner bought it recently at the Manheim Auto Auction. Sounds like he is trying to flip the car.KBB.com says Good condition is $32,195. He probably paid about $29,000 for it.

Sounds too good to be true, especially in light of the recent scams people have posted. See it in person before you send any money, even a deposit!

Great researching azkaty! Thought it was too good to be true! We can't wait to get back to Arizona, just loved it there, spent 7 weeks renovating our house there and had a hard time coming home. We are going down the last week in May, maybe see you there?

Mercedes SLK's are just starting to get around $10k or less for a 2000 year model or older...the 230 engine (kompressor), Miata, S2000 and other fun convertibles are also around that $10k range.

What do you want? Speed, Luxury, back seat, etc?

Any color preferences?

I saw a nice older CLK320 convertible with the AMG wheels (not the CLK55 though) for $9k not too long ago (older round light bodystyle).

Well they all sound nice but we are limited in our budget, looking for a fun convertible in the $3000.00 to $7000.00 range. It would be parked for the most of the time as we will only be able to spend the max of about 8 to 10 weeks a year down in Phoenix until we retire then we would take our SC down for 6 months during the winter. Would like lighter colors as black is not a good color in the blazing Arizona sun. Red, white, silver, blue it doesn't make alot of difference as long as the top and interior are a light color. ( if we could find a high end car in our price range we would jump on it! )

Thanks so much for you input and if you hear of something in our price range in the Phoenix area we would be eternally greatfull.
