was at pepboys recently & saw this stuff called lucas fuel injector cleaner. read the whole bottle and it sounds like a good product. did some research on cl & read some mixed reviews. just wanted to see if any1 on here has tried the stuff? and if so, if the results were as good as the bottle says. thanks in advance for any replys.

I've used it and have had no issues. I didn't pay attention to any performance issues though, as I typically put it in and forget about it.

I've used this Lucas Fuel Injector Cleaner on my RX and many other cars. It seems to work the best out of all the other ones. But I have yet to try Amsoil Fuel Injector Cleaner which seems to be a good one.

Lucus is very mild compared to other cleaners out there. BG44K is stronger and probably more effective, but it also cost quite a lot more.
I've used Lucas only because I can get it locally. I run a higher concentration than what's stated on the bottle and it helped my car quite a bit. I had injectors ticking and the problem went away after one run of Lucas.

Amsoil is great...been using it over 15 years in rx-7's and supras, 300zx's, etc etc.
I really am a believer in the Lexus induction service where they hook up a vacuum to your exhaust and suck the carbon build up OUT....I've always wondered as you see that nasty stuff dripping out of your exhaust (only sometimes) after you use injector cleaner what MORE stuff is still in there. Seems like that service is more comprehensive than just adding a bottle to your gas, IMO of course

Must use it a few times per instructions, but do it constantly over a week or so.
