weird sound coming from front left wheel
when i make a right turn, theres a weird sound coming from the front left wheel. the sound is barely noticeable, but you can hear it in a quiet underground parkade. has anyone noticed this sound on their SC? it sounds like an old rocking chair 'creeking' sound. but as soon as i turn the wheel straight the sound is gone.

Id be willing to bet the farm (if I owned one) You dont have the stock rims on your car do you? You probably have tires that are too big for the car, well on turns anyway. So when the tire is on an angle it rubs against the fender wall. You can push it back, just unscrew the bolts push it back and jam the screw through the molding. It happened to me on my Supra, everytime I would make a right it would rub, and if i was turning and there was a bumb...kaboom.....people used to look at me like I was crazy, like WTF is that noise.

thanks for the help. i'll check to see if its rubbing. but funny i just started hearing the sound a day after i got my wheels fixed. its a 3pc wheel and the wheel repair shop had to take the wheel apart to redo the lip. maybe the wheel repair shop didnt tighten the rivets around the wheel enough when they put the wheel back together? i dunno. i think i'll take it back to the wheel repair shop and check...
