upgraded my 2002 nav disc to a version 7.1 data for gen 2/3. everything works except for inputing destinations by address. i believe this is because the search area is not loaded. there is no map under "Search Area" to show the current area and no options for changing like with the original disc. is there a way to force a firmware update? i thought the gen2/3 disc should be compatible.
