Lisa, do you find the black interior gets too hot, or does it tend to be more prone to cracking because of the color or heat?
At some point I may get a newer one.. and the black interior would be my choice.

hahaha...its been awhile huh..
katy, the black is nice...but honestly i have to get the windows tinted b/c it gets so hot here in modesto...besides..i dont get to drive it very often. i can honestly say that the last year, i have maybe put less than 50 miles on it. the leather on it is still very nice, last year i did a good detail job on the leather and left this leather stuff on it for days and it totally soften up the leather great. but i love just black cars..its so nice but a pain to keep clean.

I assume that guys can read this thread?
if so, here's a link that addresses 'black v. white.'
this study also separates exterior paint from interior
temp. differences.
first, read the 'executive summary' at top:

This has been a fun thread!
Jimmer.. thanks for the great post.. I suspected black was maybe a little hotter, but its neat to know the real statistics ( love the numbers stuff).
I have to say, with all the talk about the SC being a " girls car", we have lots of great guy contributors, but only a few gals..
I have always been a car person..so this forum has been wonderful for me.
