My remote doesn't lock/unlock the drivers side door.
I can see the door switch move a bit when using the remote, but just not enough to do the job. Wonder if anyone got it fixed before and how much it cost.
I searched and found the OEM door lock assembly going for about $220 and generic door lock actuators for the SC430 going for $5 each. Which piece would I need?
I've taken door panels off cars before to do car speakers - if I can do that, how difficult would it be to replace either piece?

Hi Peter,
I am not there to assist nor am I a bodyshop guy. But my experience is that this is usually that something has slipped or fallen off inside of the door apparatus.
If you can, I would remove the door covering and take a look and see if you can find anything that looks out of place or is hanging down.
If it is not anything like that, then it is probably an electrical problem. Those have a quite different repair method.
Good luck & keep us posted on what you do find is wrong,
