Actually Quigley is not named for "Quigley Down Under". Mr. Quigley was a VP in Macy's many, many years ago and my Aunt was his private secretary. He was a very nice man and used to let me sit at his desk and look out his window when I was just a little kid. He always had a kind word for everyone and had a wonderful family. He also had a Westie as a pooch. In honor and memory of this person I decided to name my pup "Quigley". The name brings back good memories for me as well as my elderly Aunt.

As far as all the sucky things on the Lexus.why do you think I've had 3 cars in 6 months ?? I just can't seem to find the perfect one !!!! Even the NSX had sucky stuff as did the VR4.

I want my 68 Roadrunner back.........now there was a car that had it all: Big motor, 4 speed Hurst, Chrome Reversed wheels, AM Radio, headlight switch and windshield wipers. No gadgets or fancy stuff to annoy me.

And I just may take you up on those brews when you're in town.

It really WAS easy to take off the front circle-L, and rear wording. The dental floss took maybe five minutes after heating with a hair drier. I then rolled most of the remaining adhesive off with my finger tips and the residue wiped off using 3M bug and tar remover. A bit of wax and you can't even tell the lettering was ever present. Loved watching a policeman staring again and again through his rear view mirror trying to figure out what was behind him.

Put pics in the gallery. Thanks for the removal tips.

Seattle -

Thanks for posting the great pics on the gallery. I have a Silver SC and I could finally envision how it would look. I wasn't planning to debadge, but after seeing your pictures, I think I will remove the back emblems. I'm still not too sure about the front, and will think about that one a little more. While the grill looks clean without the L, I still like having the emblem - after all, it is a Lexus.

Easy enough to take off or put back on the front L. The toughest part was find a screwdriver which was the right length. I ended up using a small socket wrench with a phillips screwdriver bit.

I too wasn't sure about how the rear would look without the lettering, but my wife took one look at the tail and said it would be a lot cleaner looking - she was right. I love how it came out.
