FYI for 2002 owners for the tire sensors. The 2002 has sensors of 1 each of the four colors, Red, Blue,Gold, and White. I was replacing mine and was told by the sensor manufactures that I needed four golds. After I got them and they wouldn't work they changed their mind for the 2002 and say for that year you needed one of each color. I had to learn it the hard way. I will also verify that the Toyota Supra TT does fit as a spare tire. When I was having sensors changed I put it on and it clears the front and rear. Hope this will help someone.

How much were the sensors and do you need to get them from the dealer or aftermarket?

If you get them from Lexus the whole job is around $900 here in NC. for all four. They are listed as $200 each on most sources. You just have to look around. I got mine from Carquest, which was my best deal. I have found that Toyota has the best price for programming the new sensors. Make sure you get the right colors for your car. I have an 02 and it is the only one that has all four colors (one of each red,white,blue,and gold).

Sewell Lexus (SewellParts.com) has them for 02 SC430 at $75.10 each (if you indicate you are a ClubLexus member). Regular price was $125. My local dealer listed them at $141 each.
