Okay, its been a while since I have checked this website out. I have recently moved to NYC and I plan on shipping the car out here. I could park in a garage for $550 a month, or I can park on the street for free. I have noticed that just about every car on the street new or old has bumpers that ruins the cars appearance. When people parallel park here they keep going until they hit something. ha

I would like to get some sort of bumper guard, something that will dent the car that backed up into my lexus. Any ideas?

Keep in mind, even some sort of metal tube would look better than severely dinged bumpers.

Depending on your length of stay, sound like 550 a month to protect your SC may be the best option, otherwise sounds like you'd need have have something custom fabricated to the frame then wrap around your nose and tail ends. Or, you might want to pick up some used front and rear bumper covers, they're available from time to time on ebay or from auto salvage sites. Then take off your nice ones, replace them with the used ones and let them bump/bang into a couple of throw-a-ways.

I'd keep the 430 at your second place in the country and
get a Kia for the street or pony up for the garage space.

In NYC you'd need this to protect your ride. If you look closely I believe you can see just a little bit of a "SC" under the armor.
