Katy-$42 for the Gatorback at Autozone. I did mine last summer on my 02 with 25k miles. Couldn't believe it needed it based on mileage, but belts are like anything else rubber they get dried up and crack...especially in extreme temps that you and I get.
It took me 30-45 minutes. The write up by PearlPower was amazing on here. I felt like I just completed open heart surgery I was so proud of myself! It really is pretty easy.
Platinum won't cover it--I tried!
After they told me how much it was to replace (I think $300) I decided to DIY.
Make no mistake though...just a little churp at first is the classic belt noise. No worries!

This is a classic link and amazing DIY instructions. Here it is again in case it got lost in the pile of archives. Big thanks to Talwang, Pearlpower and all the wisdom on this post! I wish there was a simple DIY for changing fog lights and 68 series lights!
