That dust cap is what they shipped me with my kit. It looked like it would work fine. If anything it may be a little large, which shouldn't hurt anything. Since it's just pressed paper it can be trimmed if needed. Good luck with the project. I will continue to watch this thread and will try to answer any questions you may have.

cjs18 thanks a lot for referring me to that place i just got done refoaming my 6x9s and they sound brand new and it cost me under $30!!!!! i was going to do a while write up thing about it but i got too excited and it got late so i just wanted to get done with it, thanks again that was a great suggestion!

Glad that it worked out well for you. I agree that a DIY write-up with detailed photos might have been good but like you I was eager to 'git er done' and put back together.
