The leak was very small and on the pump. It was far cheaper to go ahead and fix it while it was disassembled then to put it off.
The only down side to all of this is that they scratched my trunk. I don't know how, but they did. They are going to polish the car next week, give me a loaner, and spilt the cost.

I was prepared to take the hit for the waterpump too however, Lexus called and said it was in really good shape and recommended to NOT replace it. (That was different than what I expected when I got their call) They did recommend the front brake pad replacement...$383, but chose to do it another day. I was pleased the way they handled it.
I too would rather Lexus dealership did the work vs Toyota even though they claimed they had 4 Lexus certified mechanics on duty.
Wisluggo, sorry to hear about the scratch. I always take a couple observation walks around the car when I get work done for that very reason. At least they aren't giving you a problem with it. Splitting the cost? I don't know about that one. Good luck though.
