My left mirror works fine but my right mirror won't tilt. It goes in and out fine. I have tried everything I can think of. Any ideas? Have an 02.

The ADVANCED SEARCH feature is your friend. Pearlpower posted a great thread on this just a few years ago that was recently resurrected. The last two comments are most applicable as others had the identical problem and repaired it themselves following the instructions in this thread. Here is the link. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...de-mirror.html

I have a 2006 sc and I had the same issue. The dealer replaced my mirror last week under CPO warranty. Unfortunately, there is no owner remedy for this problem. I hope the few number of reports on this site is an indication that it does not occur often.

My '02 right mirror did the same thing. My mirror would not go up/down using the dash controls or when the car was placed in reverse. Right/left worked fine. The motor had gone bad. You'll find Lexus doesn't sell repair parts for the mirror. They only sell the whole mirror. I bought a "donor" mirror from e-bay for $75 and used the same link VVTiBob referenced (with a few differences) to repair with the donor parts. It was moderately difficult to do, but you learn a lot when disassembling the donor before trying it on the car. Good luck with your repair.
