Default 2003 electrical problem

I have a 2003 SC430 that I recently had to jump due to a dead battery. After the jump I no longer have functioning dash lights, gauges, radio or temperature control. I was hoping to be pointed in the right direction on what this could be.

Thanks in advance

*edit could I have toasted the voltage regulator with the jump, is it located in the alternator?

Have you checked your fuses lately?

Thanks for responding! That's exactly what it was, the 140a alternator fuse.

Well I suppose that depends on how the "jump" was done.

The 140Amp ALT fuse is located in the engine compartment in the No. 1 Relay box by the battery.

I, too, would like to know the details of the jumpstart that managed to trip a 140-amp fuse.

If what happened was a fluke, I could understand it.

If there's something that can be done to avoid the circumstances, I'm sure some of the other forum members would like to know, too.
