Default Valet scraped my car :(

So this past Friday I was waiting to get my car from my friend's valet and the valet driver jumped a curb in front of me and it scraped up the underside of the front bumper / fender. Worse yet I also noticed that the side of the car (near the driver side wheel well) are nicely scraped up. I ask the driver about that and he says he's sorry and that he may lose his job. I feel bad but iI was upset and talked to the desk clerk who took pictures and made note of the situation. I am going to send the building an email on Monday to see if we can resolve this in a fair and professional manner. I understand that mistakes happen when parking cars and things like that, but to be completely negligent?

Oh man, that sucks bro. They better pay for it! I never trust valets so instead I give them money and park the car myself. Sorry to hear that this had to happen. I hope you will resolve this soon!

Just another reason to hate valets. Dents, dings, changing seat position, stealing money/coins, etc.

Good luck getting this resolved soon. Definitely sucks.

Valets are just to help you dress, Never let them park anything I own. They are so over confident of there driver skills that they are dangerous. The parking company should pay for the entire fix

^ +1. Before I lived in Tampa, I had a valet park my brand new G35 (only because the downtown hotel didn't have a parking lot next to it). When it was time to pick up my car, the valet returned with major scratches along the passenger side of the car & a huge hole in the front bumper. Apparently, he failed to put the parking brake on (it was stick shift) & the car rolled along the fence & crashed into a cement divider. If the guy didn't know to use the parking brake, it's a wonder that he was able to put the car into first gear! I was beyond livid. The hotel ended up paying for all the damages, comping my stay, & firing the valet. I will never use a valet again.

The larger mark at the crease (last picture) looks like it will rub out with some meguires cleaner wax or the zaino # 1 or # 2 (not sure of the number) cleaner wax. Is there a dent or has it broken the clearcoat? Looks like it just might be white paint from the car it rubbed against? I hope so...that's an easy fix! Keep us posted. Sorry this happened.
