Hello: Went on a 400 mile round trip without incident, but on way back we noticed that both front headlights shake up and down even on a fairly flat road.

Now I notice that the warning light for the 'automatic headlight leveling system' has come on.

Has anyone have any experience about how much this will cost to repair?
Could this be a 'sensor malfunction' that I have read about......or since the lights are bouncing, there is a real problem?

My seven year warranty has expired......and although many have said it wasn't worth it, I got my money's worth......so this issue will be paid straight from my pocket.

Any experiences on this issue would be appreciated.
