Hi Kbal. That is funny. Thanks for corecting my english. I'm still learning it and it is hard for an old man (67 year old) to learn a forein language just by using dictionary. You will laught your socks off if you you knew that some time ago I order a rootbeer be cause I thought it was an original beer.

It really comes down to the actual design of the wheel, inside diameter, depth and spoke pattern/thickness. I do know this when I added my caliper covers to the calipers my OEM 18" Tourmalines were/are a very snug fit. Losing another inch in diameter may be problematic if the inside diameter is reduced proportionally.

OK. May be I did not make it clear when I asked for help. So here I try it again and I hope to get a simple YES or NO answer.
I found a set of wheels 17x7 FROM A 2007 ++ LEXUS ES 350 for sale and I want to buy it as a gift for my son.
But I dont know if the stock brake calipers of his SC430 will rub against the rim or not. (I do know 17x7.5 is OK). So, any YES or NO answer would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I wouldn't do it.... Fwd car wheels are typically different offsets. Unless you can measure in person and try it on it's a risk. I can't think of anyone on this forum who has put fwd Lexus es 17" wheels on their sc.
Tell me why you won't get him some stock 18's and winter tires??
