Finally got my car back yesterday from the shop. They had it for 3 agonizing weeks of great top down weather and I was stuck driving a Jeep Liberty. They offered a Suburban at first and I declined that and asked for a car but all they had was this Jeep. Of course, it was raining all day when I went to pick it up and was today also. So I still haven't seen it in the sunlight.

I also had them replace my front bumper cover that had a crack by the fender in question and a whole bunch of paint chips missing as a result of the previous owners poor paint job on the cover. (Not sure where the crack came from but when I looked at a picture from a year ago, it was there then too, so the accident didn't cause it.) I got the 3M paint protectorate film put on the bumper also.

The service advisor signing me out told me that I had kept the car in really good condition. My thought was that it would almost be a sin to not do so, but then again, that's just the SC430 owner in me thinking.

So I'm a happy camper again looking for some good top down weather and an excuse to drive.

Good to hear, Harold! Congrats.

BTW Katy, there's a video going around in email about that hail storm. It was really a frightening thing.

You are seeing our storm right! Now , think about being an adjuster with literally thousands of claims coming in-- cars and homes..!

This has been really a challenge, let me tell you.

Claims still coming in..I have lost count.

Eboni was only rained on, thank goodness. I would have been sick if she had been destroyed due to hail.
