Saw this on ebay, I have never bought anything made in Poland of commercial quality. There has to be someone stateside with these molds.

I thought two items were odd in the listing. First no photos of the parts themselves, just two stock photos and those were not close up. Second, the statement about fitment and painting. With no substantial changes in the SC bodywork/sheetmetal in years, why would fitment even be something to disclaim?

If I understand your statement regarding the quality of commercial grade products from countries belonging to the former soviet union, then the practice of caveat emptor is a reasonable one.

I wouldnt expect the kit to fit perfectly. Most these kits are fiberglass and will need some tweaking to make them work.

Kaiser, you do remember seeing this same exact kit in another thread you posted to, right? This kit is on ebay being sold in Germany for more than double the price in Poland.

Well it doesn't say, made in poland, but apparently it's being shipped from there. Go back to ebay, in the other item info box is one place. Under the shipping "tab" where it says: "Item location: RUDA BUGAJ, łódzkie, Poland" I'm always leery of these kind of expensive items from eastern European countries because there is little, if any, recourse if something happens.

The same product being sold in Germany says it's being shipped from Germany. It has nothing to do where it is made.

Yes

Ebay's buyer protection is actually pretty good. It covers up to $2000 if I remember right. Worst case scenario here would probably be if the fitment sucks and you have to send it back. You might be out shipping. Before you buy it, I would clarify who covers shipping if you have to return it.

By the way for those of you who have never been to Poland, some of the most beautiful women I have had the pleasure to meet. Might be worth visiting to examine the kit.

i like this kit also i am going to keep an eye on this seller and also look into that ebay buyer protection. Kaiser isnt this the kit that was sold in germany but the front wasnt the same as the pictures( didnt have the fog light assembly?) Also did the one from germany have the side skirts? And i thought it was alot more expensive from germany also.

looks like the one in germany does have the side skirts just like the poland one its just not in the pics. But it was over 2x the price!!!

Okay this is kinda shady the polish body kit was removed from ebay now i wonder if the time ran out on it but i thought it was buy now and didnt have an auction time on it
