Looking to buy a 2003 SC430
Hi guys,
I found myself a nice 2003 white SC430 with 110,000km. The car is not bad.
But I noticed one thing, there is a huge gap between the rear trunk. Is this normal. Due to the Convertable part. I know the rear end has been involved in an accident but not sure by how much of an accident. Any input would help, everything works well on the car even the roof.
regards,
Lawrence

There shouldn't be any significant panel gap on the car.
Are you talking about between the bottom lip of the trunk and the rear bumper?
If that's the case, you should NOT be able to get your fingers into the gap (like you were going to lift the turnk lid) unless the trunk lid has been released.

Try to find a really good bodyshop & have them look at it.
To find a really good bodyshop I looked in the local Porsche Club newsletter.

Lawrence,
There are plenty of good body shops around town here (I'm in the Dallas area also). The Lexus dealers can probably do a good job also. Have them check it out and a thorough check up for everything else also. Personally, I'd probably keep looking, there are plenty of good cars out there with lower mileage to boot.
(Is that 110,000 kmeters or 110kmiles? If it was a local car, it shouldn't have been registering km, it should have been kmi.)
