Anyone looking to buy an SC430 should check this out!
In my line of work i often come see alot of car deals and dealership websites so you know i always peek to see if they have SC430's for sale. I saw this deal today and thought i would share it with this forum. i havent looked into this car any further then seeing the sale posting. Also it doesnt have any pics but the price is right for anyone who is cheap like me!! :O) If the link doesnt work you can find it on autotrader. Its a 02 with 140k+ miles for 8k

When someone posts a car for sale & cannot even get the colors correct I tend to pass.
Plus with that many miles, you better get some history,

I actually did look at a carfax on this car and it isnt salvaged and has no accidents and i dont think there is many questions about the reliability of this car so i wouldnt be to worried about that my sc430 has 145k and runs like new.

Nice find!!! Wow...what a great price. You know at 140k depending on the maint history this could be the best steal I've seen on a SC that's pretty clean. Put some 20" wheels, re-dye the leather and complete a 30k service and timing belt/water pump maybe some brakes/battery or other maint items ($3-$5k investment) and you could easily have a sharp looking, rare color sweet ride!!!
BTW-Twilight Amethyst Pearl (TAP) is very commonly called red or burgandy by wholesalers on autotrader, cars.com, etc etc. It's happened for years. You'll also see the gold cars called tan or brown and even "other".
See the color code chart for the SC430...a GREAT resource! The wholesaler should have done their homework, but then again for a 9 year old car for $8k what do you expect?
