I have had my EZ's on for a few months now and love them. The car drives so much better and feels much more 'glued' to the road.
Mine are set on number 5, a little firm (I like it like that), but still very comfortable. I am sure if you set them higher than 10 they are as soft or softer than the originals.
If you look up my thread 'Megan install in pictures' it may help with your install.

Best regards

Steve

Steve how much was the cost (less shipping of course)? On a scale of 1~5, 5 being HARD, how do you rate it?

Anyone use the LP street series? The specs looks very similar to the EZ series, ie spring rates and travel is the same, just a 32way adjustable rather than 15 way adjustable damper.

Is it worth the extra $$$ to go with the LP or just stick with the EZ series?

I also assume that when people lowered the car, they adjusted the height via the lower part of the strut rather than compressing the springs.

Correct. The springs are set at zero preload.

Scdroptop did. The bigger difference is the pillow top mount.

Hi Mandy

I got the Megan's from LSin75075 on this forum and they were around $650 plus shipping. Not seen him post on here recently though.
Not sure what you mean by how I rate it! If you mean how I rate the ride with mine set at five then I would say 3.

Best regards

Steve

Hi Mandy

Yes, I have ordered a Luxlink, hope I get it while we still have some summer.

How's the kit holding up?
Want to know if the megan coilovers are reliable, or should I put out more money and get something that is better?

Hi Studie

I ran my Megans for a year without any issues and then I had them altered so that I could change to air. Been running on air for the last 9 months and the Megans are fine. The ride is a bit firmer than I would like, but that is due to the bags not the shocks.
I only put about 3K miles on the car each year, so not really a long term test.
A lot of people on here would advise spending more $ on 'better' coilovers, but the Megans suited my budget and they are holding up just fine.

Best regards
Steve

I can only assume a spring compressor will make the job easier so you don't need to remove the knuckle.

Does anyone have a link to a detailed write up of this procedure, or maybe a video? I'd love to do this job DIY, but would be my first time doing suspension work. Thx!
