I am looking for directions for removing the dome light assembly to replace my homelink module. How did you remove the assembly? I cannot find instructions anywhere!

FWIW, I had a helluva time removing the plastic lenses! Use some good plastic prying tools and take your time. After those are removed, the rest is fairly easy...and if I can find my pictures from many moons ago I'll gladly post a few.
EDIT:
^^ popping the covers off
^^ cover removed, remove bulb to access screw
^^ module removed

Reason: + pics
I just replaced my map bulbs and it was a standard T10 LED bulb. The hard part was removing the entire assembly to access the bulbs. The same bulbs are used for the door lights, and vanity lights. The dome light is a 29mm festoon bulb. Hope that helps.

I popped open the lens to see a completely different bulb there than what i was told to get. Eventually, I said screw the LED and took the factory bulb to autozone for a regular replacement and THEY couldn't even tell me what bulb it was as they have the same guide everyone else uses. can anyone tell me how to get a proper LED replacement or even what the factory bulb is?
