I don't think so! The whole idea of getting an SC was the droptop. IMHO from the angle on the overhead shot of the LC 600h, from the front door back it looks like the present day Nissan 370Z coupe. And if I had wanted one of those, I could have gotten one. Hell I probably could get 2 for the price of a LC 660h, and not have to wait 4 years to boot. From these rendering I think the hood is too long, looking like a Mercedes SL.

As for the car, please note that the car shown is not even a prototype - it is a drawing only, which is far from becoming even a concept car. I'd wait a bit before even spending time to think about it.

Newer is always better. If it doesn't seem that way initially, it will eventually grow on you during it's 8-13 year course of production.
Having a droptop was great the first year of ownership, but after that, climate control is my friend.
As for it's droptop, eventually it will be made available the following year. ie. G37 C, 350 Z, IS-C 350 etc...
