Happy New Year to all club members near and far. I know everyone joins me in wishing the very best to all the troops serving our country and pray for their safe return.
I took my car out today as the weather has been clear and sunny although quite cold and because I let the battery drain down by mistake---left the trunk lid slightly ajar for about 2 weeks. I bought a portable jump start battery which is quite handy and keep it in the car just in case I still might need it while out and about this winter. I didn't seem to have any issues caused by the depleted battery other than the clock setting.
So, my New Year's resolution will be to keep my foot lighter on the gas pedal which may be impossible but I will try for the sake of my wife who never knows when I might punch it!
As a side note to SCdroptop, I tried "your" name brand Drop Top amber ale over the holiday. Tastes great.
