1969 Corvette Convertible (4sp, 454ci, divorce maker - yeah, she got it ;()

Well 76210 Guy you have me beat in experience but at least we have more than our SC430s in common - Triumph Spitfire !!!

1980 Triumph Spitfire ( Canary Yellow with a TR6 engine shoehorned into the engine bay - wild ride )
1989 Honda Prelude 2.0 (Navajo Red - Mostly stock except for upgraded rims)
1994 BMW 318iS Coupe (Boston Green on black - all stock)
1990 Jaguar XJ6 2.9 liter ( Gunmetal Gray on gray - riding on a cloud )
1996 BMW 520i Individual ( White on White - always something breaking down )
2001 Honda Prelude 2.2 ( Neutron Blue - all stock - I went back to school so no more luxury cars for a while. She was faithful and always true - sold at a great price when I let her go in 2006 )
2006 Acura RL ( Opulent Blue Pearl on Ebony - still in my garage, still running smoothly )
2005 Lexus SC430 ( Twlight Amethyst Pearl on Ecru - in my other garage - daily driver )
2010 Acura MDX Tech/Ent ( Crystal Black Pearl on Black - latest addition to the family - wife's ride )

Hi Guy,

It would take way too much time to list all of them.

The three that 'got-away' & that I wish that I had kept:

1932 Ford 5-window coupe - A real one & not a repro; I had it my senior year in high school

1965 Porsche 356C coupe - Almost showroom condition; my 2nd 356 coupe, the first one was a 1956 model that I had while stationed in France

1957 Chevy 2-dr hardtop - black, stick w/o'drive; my 2nd '57 Chevy 2-dr hardtop but the one that I should have kept

The most amazing car was my 1997 BMW 840Ci; computers everywhere.

I have spent a lot of money modding all these cars. I hate to even think about it.

Wow, a real memory test. Ok here we go. I suspect I will leave out a few....

50 plymouth sedan
58 chevy sedan
57 Buick 2 dr ht
57 ford 2 dr post
57 ford 2 dr ht-Told this story 2many times-bought it for $25 because it wouldn't start-pd the guy $25 opened the hood, turned the distributor slightly, cranked it over and drove away-my best deal ever.
66 chevy caprice 2dr ht
67 Plymouth fury 2 dr ht
66 buick wildcat
66 buick skylark
70 buick lesabre
67 buick electra
70 buick electra-best riding car until lexus-took trips driving 16 hour days and not so much as a sore butt-even had a factory 8 track tape
71 buick lesabre
68 ford fairlane ranch wagon-wow 3 sp and no PS
74? chevy vega (???)
67 ford van
77 chevy caprice
74 gmc safari van (somethin about knockin?)
81 datsun 310
75 chevy van-1 ton camping
81 buick skylark
80 cadillac seville (huge mistake)
82 olds wagon
82 buick lesabre
86 300 ZX
93 honda del sol (red 5-sp)
86 gmc safari
93 honda del sol (green 5-sp)
95 honda del sol (black-auto)
99 buick regal
2000 honda odyssey
05 honda odyssey (current)
08 infiniti ex 35 (current)
02 sc 430 (current)

Thats 90% of them the other I forgot or are forgettable. Certainly brings back memories though. Like the 82 buick that was perfect in every way, except that the drivers window could drop 6" without notice. That happened with my wife and she was so concerned with the window that she went straight when the left arrow only went on and hit a brand new mercedes (1 week old) and it hit a minivan. $20K damage with no injuries. All for a window-The buick didnt even look like it was damaged.

Sorry for owning so many cars. Its lengthy-not interesting!

2006 Merc. C350 w203 auto. Pewter w/ black int. (Beast)

Man that Spitfire sat at the mechanic for months trying to find carbs for it.. I finally sold it to a guy for a restoration. He asked me if I wanted the kittens that had been born in it while it sat! I graciously included them in the deal. It was a fun car for a year or so while I kept it running! Nice to see some commonality among us!

Wow Jerry... A BMW 840Ci is like a fantasy car.. nice. My dad had a '32 Ford 5'er as well that he bought in the very early 50's. Kept it for years and only sold it when I was already gone off on my own, so a long time owner.

Boy you have had a few!

I love the RX7 convertibles. Had a friend with one in the Sf Bay area when I lived there who would occasionally let me drive it for a weekend... great cars.

I've had more than I can remember, going all the way back to a '63 grand prix, but as a long time fan of the topless ride, my favorites have been my 1975 fiat spider, my 2002 t-bird, and of course my latest 07 sc430.
