me too. Discount Tire doesn't do alignment so I'll take the wife's car later in the week. They are 'growing' on me. I forgot whose car it was but I do remember the brand and they were nice. They were Lexani LSS5 which retail for around $400/wheel. One of these days maybe I'll be able to afford them bad boys because I sure do like them.

In the FWIW category, there are places that market a lifetime alignment. I go to Firestone where theirs cost around $130. You can take the car back anytime to readjustment.

I swapped the aftermarket rims and funflats that my SC430 came with when we bought it with the stock chrome 18" wheels that were on the 2007 IS250. It looks alot better and handles even better. 225/40/18 fronts and 255/40/18 rears. 18x8 front rims and 18x8.5 rears staggered set up. Ill post up pics soon.

Tires are BF Goodrich G-Force KDWs.

I might need to replace my run flats soon and I figured I should do some research. I am going for the Michelin Pilot PS2 but what size will fit my factory tourmaline wheels?

I am thinking of having discount tires to the work. Is this a good idea or should I have lexus dealer do this? I am worry about them messing up my tire sensors...

^^^ +1 on the Hankook Ventus V12's. I have them on my RX as well. Love the ride! Very quiet tire with excellent wet and dry traction.

If you check out Discount Tire's website, the size should come up if you have OEM wheels. A number of us on the forum (especially in the DFW area) have used DT do our tires with good success. Be sure to have them replace the seals in your sensors. It is cheap and worth preventing future leaks.

Good info. I have Firestone and DT and will call them up for estimates. I went to my Lexus Dealer and they suggested BridgeStone RE050A.

Tires: $1330
Mound and Balance: $120
Alignment: $124

Total: $1575.19!

I am thinking of run-flats now so that I do not need to deal with spare tire. Any recommendations..

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus Run-Flat?

The Pirelli PZero Nero run flats were pretty good and reasonably priced, relatively speaking.

[QUOTE=Seagram;6062332]I have a 03 with 55K and I started with the run flat Dunlop's What a
harsh ride. I switched to the Bridgestone run flat and they were not
much better. After my second set of Bridgestone's were due to be replaced
(16K miles) I decided that it was a time for change.

Now on my 4th set of tires I have switched to the Michelin Pilot PS2. I just
got home from my Dealer (15 miles) but I am so happy with the new ride
that I just had to tell someone.

Congrats, you're car is a beauty! Can't beat the Michelins!
