Default New tires = happy camper

I have a 03 with 55K and I started with the run flat Dunlop's What a
harsh ride. I switched to the Bridgestone run flat and they were not
much better. After my second set of Bridgestone's were due to be replaced
(16K miles) I decided that it was a time for change.

Now on my 4th set of tires I have switched to the Michelin Pilot PS2. I just
got home from my Dealer (15 miles) but I am so happy with the new ride
that I just had to tell someone.

I certainly hope so. But the weather has been weird here in the South for the past 10 years. But hey I am not complaining.

welcome the (sub) michelin pilot/lexus sc430 club.
I too have 'em.
you may want to look into filling up with nitrogen.
to me, the ride is even better and with
the larger nitrogen molecule there's less
leakage and pressure variance.
most tire shop installers and all costcos do free top-offs.

Do you have any idea of how your credibility is effected when you make a statement like "The ride is even better"? You have got to be kidding. You can't be serious. Air is 78% nitrogen.

Maybe look into Helium. If you could find a way to keep it in the tires (very small molecules) it would make the car bear less weight on the road plus raise the pitch of any road noise.

I love it. I don't know where people come up with this stuff. And to actually say in a forum. Unbelievable!!
Not talking about you cj. I know yours is tongue in cheek.

How much will it cost to replace my run flats with Michelin Pilot PS2? Should I go to discount tires or is this something i should get from my lexus dealer?

Discount tire post their lowest price on ebay, lower than their own website prices. The PS2 are listed for $1,075.40 with free shipping. Their local stores should be able to match this price.
