After almost a year of ownership, my sc430 is almost how i perfectly envisioned it
In 10 days, it will be exactly one year since I purchased my sc430.
Like just about everyone else, it has been by far the best car I have ever owned. When I first bought the car I thought it was absolutely beautiful as it was, I had NO intentions of doing ANY mods.. EVEN the wheels.
But then I joined this site . After a couple months of browsing/lurking and acquiring a wealth of knowledge from a lot of ---outstanding--- folks here... I now had a vision of what I wanted my SC to look like. I didn't want to change a lot, but I DID want to make it personal to me. I wanted to keep the SC simple and classy (how Lexus originally designed it to be) but just sporty it up a bit.
So here I am. Bellow are some pics of the car I love so much. I look them after hand washing and waxing it at a buddys garage (car is now dirty again from crappy NJ weather). Sorry for the sucky cell phone pics but after a year of making the car mine, I just needed to share. Still plan on upgrading the sound system and getting new rotors/painted calipers in the spring/summer. But for now, I am perfectly content .

I am with you. I'm 1.5 months to it. Slowly but surely it is getting upgraded to where I want it to be. If the wife allows an open checkbook, would have been done by now.
But patience is a virtue.

thanks for all of the positive responses guys!
mandyfig...patience is definitely a virtue! besides, i think it is so much more rewarding and satisfying to slowly see your car take shape...its like a short story! what is a great movie without a solid buildup, ya know? doing everything at once takes the fun out of the journey in my opinion, but i'm not rich, so its not like i have a choice anyway!
redliner8- yup i have blue led interior dome lights from vleds thanks to vvtibob pointing me in the right direction not too long ago. ill try to take some more inside shots of the car tomorrow. and yeah man we should definitely set something up. i see VERY few sc430s around here and whenever i do, i stare in awe and think to myself "wow, I am driving that same beautiful car right now!"
m3nv - i am realllllly thinking about this. would love the more aggressive look. i just don't really know where to start. also worried about any possible vibration issues? maybe ill do a search...
