Default 2002 sc 430

Just installed Injen Short Ram Intake and I want to slit my wrists! Everything ( I thought) went fine. Finished up and as I cleaned some areas unaccessable before the transition I leaft the car running 45 mins. for sure. Shut the engine off and closed the hood...good job! Had some dinner and went out and I don't have an idle. Stalls if I don't put foot on pedal. Did I break something? Am I even using this forum correctly? gnewsum@austin.rr.com

Welcome, just thinkin' are you sure that everything is put back together correctly and everything is tight? You might have forgotten or when you were doin' the sprucing up might have bumped something loose. It's worth a look. Also have you driven it? Maybe if will straighten out after a nice long drive on the open road. I'd say it wouldn't cost much to give it a try, but with the price of gas! lol But they still look good sittin' in the garage. lol

For good measure, it should look like this (note: use hose clamps instead of zip ties for the hoses). The MAF sensor (wires connected close to the air filter) needs to be secure on both ends and clean of debris:

gnewsum-sounds like you knocked the MAF sensor off. Hopefully didn't break any tabs or do any permanent damage. My bet is you'll find the easy fix and be rollin' later today. Good luck and please keep us posted.

Time to clean the MAF sensor when you do this. MAF cleaner works good.

Nice black on saddle rare with nice chrome aftermarket wheels, newer tires...higher mileage $138k but fairly close to you and rare combo color...could probably get for $13.5

Another black on saddle in CT:
