Possible solution for ML 6x9?

Hello all,
I run across the link above regarding 6x9 8ohm speakers for our notorious ML blown 6x9

. the mounting depth for our car is 3.5 inches.....these are 3.15"
My ML are still ok....would try these if they were bad.

If anyone tries these, please leave some feedback how they work. I looked them up on the web and they are 1/6th the cost of a ML speaker.

I'd like to know as well. I will be getting ready to ship mine to CA for repair.
