Painted Calipers

So now that I got the new wheels, I figured the next step would be to paint the calipers. Glad I did! I just used the red hi-temp caliper paint you get at AutoZone. I didn't feel like doing it myself so I took it to a local paint shop and they did the work. I'll take a better picture of the whole car tomorrow...

The paint brand is VHT and it's rated to 900°F. I didn't see many reviews on the product but it's apparently a popular product. The paint cost $7...cheap! But I paid $150 to have it done. I didn't want to mess with taking off the wheels, cleaning, degreasing, masking, and all that. Basically a couple of hours labor from a body shop. I just made sure they had done this before. The paint adds so much to the car. I went from the pie plates to new wheels and red calipers. Almost a totally different car with just a couple minor changes.
