Can anyone offer advice or help for me...my passenger side seat on my 2005 sc430 stopped moving back and forth (the part you sit on)
I took the seat out and it turns on that the bushing that the worm gear turns was worn down and stripped...but Lexus doesnt offer that part seperate they want me to buy a $2300.00 seat track for a $2 dollar bushing.

Anyone have any suggestions.....i have already spent days on the phone with junkyards and the cheapest seat I can find is $500.00 which sucks because I dont need the whole seat.

You can get the part made through a machine shop. Maybe cost you $200.00~250.00.

That really sounds odd. That your passenger side wears out and the drivers side is fine. I would think it sounds like a deffective part. Call lexus corperate Maybe you have a case, Funny when you push corp the might find a solution like getting the missing part from the vendor that made the parts. When its going to cost them big money they get very creative at finding a solution that costs them less money
