Default drain tube?????

There is what looks like a drain tube at the inside rear of the passenger side wheelwell on my '08 sc430. Something drips from it occasionally. The fluid is somewhat viscous and very bitter tasting. Does anyone know what it is? The tube is not visible from above looking down in the engine compartment.

You should fine two drain tube is that area. One originates in the channel between the rear quarter panel fender and the trunk lid, close to the intersection of the lower right corner of the rear window. (Actually there is one on each side of the car.) If you open the trunk and go around to that position you should see a small tray with a small hole centered in the bottom.
The second tube, the one you tasting??? Originates in the antenna compartment. If moisture, condensation etc get in, it can drain out. What you were probably tasting (don't know why you'd do that) was some of the lubricants use for the antenna.

If you go to this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...-problems.html and scroll down to comment #8 I posted a photo and diagram in January 2010.
