Post 2003 SC Pricing (NAV?)

I'm thinking of getting a new SC and was waiting to see the price increase for 2003. The Lexus website has been updated showing an increase of $970. However, there is some conflicting info on the Navigation system. Under Price/Options the NAV is not listed and therefore is included in the base price. However, if you "Build Your Own" the NAV is listed as a $2000 option.

Does anyone know which is correct?

The 2002 Brochure, Edmunds.com, kbb.com. etc all show the Navigation system as included in the base pricing and not an option.

If it is an option thats a $2970 increase for the same car.
maybe I should get a leftover 2002 now.

Any opinions??
Thanks

Default I dunno

BUT I can tell you that it is/was a $2000 option on the 2002 so either they forgot to update the website with that tidbit OR it really is still an option for $2000?

Default Not an option

I'm pretty sure that the NAV system has not been an option for almost a year now.

It was when the car first came out, and there are a few out there without it, but it was made standard after a few months (maybe just to allow a lower "base price" upon introduction?) and has been since then.

I'm pretty sure the NAV is standard and would be included in the base price.

Same deal with the "spoiler."

Post 2002's Discounted!!!

Stopped by the local dealer today.

They are discounting the 2002 models now that the 2003's have been announced. Last week they wanted 62.5K(MSRP), now it's 59.7K for the same car.

Sure is tempting at this price. Too bad they don't have the color combo I want.
Maybe the 2003 will be discounted too.

Looks like the supply and demand have finally met.

Post Lexus Website changed

The Lexus website has been changed.

As mentioned above, when the 2003 was first displayed, "Build your SC" showed the NAV as a $2000 option.
Now it shows the 2002 model instead without the NAV as an option. Its included in the base.

Looks like the Base 2003 price may have the NAV included afterall.
