Default dealer put regular oil in instead of synthetic

I have had nothing but trouble from lexus of orlando.....battery drain.... broken trunk.. and more

My sc has78000 miles I've been using synthetic for a while now and for some reason they decided to put regular oil in this last oil change. !!

How bad is this for my car should I have them drain it and replace it with synthetic?

I alternate on my 99 Land Cruiser that has 155K depending on what I can get on sale. No problems.

its not going to hurt your engine, next time make sure you tell them you want synthetic oil.

Synthetic can run longer between oil changes though. Don't be running 10,000 miles on the dino oil before you change it.

I just did my first oil change. Bought Amsoil and brought it to the dealership. Told them to give me back the empty containers, which they did.

Hi 95,

IMO it is not 'bad' for your car.

Now, what did they charge you for?

You might want to get some $$$ back.

IMO this is just another example of why I use an independent shop.

Im in orlando too, I brought my car in for the timing belt service and it didn't have any problems, but they did forget to change one of the settings that I asked them to change.

That would be my only concern, did they charge you for synthetic oil but then not put in synthetic… then I would definitely being making some complaints!

They charged me correctly they just didn't pay attention to the order.

I've just had horrible experiences at that dealership.

You should definitely take it in again, try to talk to a customer service manager, and see what they'll do.
