Default Ok, I Am Going With The Majority Of Opinions On Here

Hi All,

Started a thread if I should do BBK or full bodykit. After mulling it over full bodykit it is !... Cant wait.

** I just can't CAN'T see myself spending thousands($$$) on BBK(Endless) or even Brembo/Stoptech if I do not have FI. It looks awesome and unique(how many Endless BBK do we see on the street? Like zero).

Now I need all of ya'll help again. Sourcing best place for Supra TT brakes.

From researching am I correct to say:

1) 2 Supra TT calipers
2) 2 Supra TT front rotors
3) 2 Brake pads / SS Brake Lines

It should cost me in the neighborhood of ~$900 ? Where do you recommend to get the parts? Carson Toyota ?

Thanks again for your help guys !!

Im doing the LS400 brake upgrade. I've got to buy the Sage LCA block so that it clears. Its better this way IMO because i'd have to raise my car cause the block drops my car 1.1 in. Therefor the car would ride a bit better. Thats the way i look at it. Plus i think theyre easier to find? Start calling up junk yards

Will the Sage RCA kit fit our cars?

Lexus 98-05 GS300/GS400/GS430 (2GS) is the fitment I show for it.

what i hear is if you read about brakes in general they are not needed on our cars. if you read about big brake kits they stop a car about 7 feet quicker then normal brakes. is 7 feet worth the money. advertising can sell anything and with brakes it dose a great job. now a body kit will make the car sharp looking now for the money thats were you can't go wrong.

I'm hoping it will fit because the suspension design looks the same. Also i think it shares the same part number for the control arm.

Anyone have any input on this? Sorry, Dont mean to hijack the thread but it is helpful information on going with the ls400 brake upgrade route

Its okay man as long as my thread helped out a CL members questions

Btw, any particular reason more SC430 owners go with the LS400 caliper route instead of Supra TT caliper/upgrade ? Is the cost signficantly cheaper?

I like how it looks better lol so i compared the suspension to a GS and it looks the same. So the LCA block should fit our cars. Im on a debate now if I should just shave the caliper or whatever area it touches and just buy a spc camber kit instead.. That was also a plus to putting the LCA block on. Since the block lowers your car. You raise your suspension back up and correct the camber a bit. Ahh what to doo

So I assume u will use the ls400 rotors with the ls400 calipers? Are the ls400 rotors bigger than our stock sc430 rotors? I believe the supra tt rotors are 12.6inches.
