WHEELS for my TEM sc430 PBE
Newbe to the forum...Just got a 2006 Tigereye Mica Pebble Beach Edition SC430. I want to get rims to really show up the car. The Lexus wheels are nice but was thinking of bronze or gold. Saw some classy ones out there, but not sure how good they are and will look on car or perform. ANYONE have after market wheels on there SC430? Would love to look at some pics but can not find any here. Any suggestions on what wheel will look sharp on my car??? TY

Wheels
Looking at these 2 among hundreds of others...I really like the bronze because of the Tigereye color on the SC. Looked at chrome but they do not look right. The gold may be too gold. I would love to find a bronze wheels (like pictured) with a chrome lip. argggggggggggg HELP

TY...Your car is BEAUTIFUL!!! Saw the pics, LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! When were those pics posted? Wanna Trade? lol I paid 35K (w/tax and 75k warranty included). 06, 28k miles. Not the color I was searching for and did not want to get it from a dealer but it is a Pebble Beach Edition (one owner) and it was here in town (vegas) which is a rare find. Kinda wish I would have waited for the color combo I wanted, BUT I'M LOVE'N the ride!

Thanks
I posted the pics about six months after I bought the car. I bought it new paid the full boat price. I have 6500 miles on it . Took delivery in nov 2004. I only drive it when I can put the top down. Its a garage queen . I also am avid motorcycle rider. I have two kawasaki vulcan 750 both restored 1989 and 1995. So when I have time to ride I dont know which to ride bike or car. Bike is more fun. Since I dont use the car much every time I do drive its like a whole new experience.

These are some awesome wheels done by my local custom shop. Lots of $$$$ but definitely sweet. The owner wanted the bronze coloring to match the saddle interior on his black SC. I wish I had a shot with the top down .

This Discount Tire site has an interactive feature where you can put in year and color of your SC430 and then place various types of wheels on it to see how they would look, fit, etc:
http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/int...09620?r=LAVINT
While it may not cover very many brands or types of wheels, at least it may give you an idea or two. Also, unfortunately, it does not have the Tigereye Mica color.

Yikes, this is a tough one.
(digression coming -- wait for it)
I'm immediately keen on the bronze wheels, but as the son of an interior designer, I must advise caution.
Colors that are similar can be disastrous together, and expose the other tones within each.
Case in point, my 1993 Royal Jade Metallic SC400 vs the 2002 Midnight Pine SC430 (blurry, but the best I have on the night I traded in the old girl).
The 400 is nearly blue.
So I can't recommend the bronze wheels unless you're able to compare them side-by-side. My thoughts are they could appear practically yellow on your car.
If you get the chance to compare, let us know. And absolutely post your final decision!
