Standing the test of time in Performance?
I was reading my monthly car rag, and realized a lot of our direct competitors such as
Mercedes SL, SLK (non AMG) Porsche Boxster ( not S) Volvo c70, Audi A5, TT, all are within a hair of the straight line performance times of the decade old SC. Several are quite a bit slower.
If you look at the cars a decade older than the SC such as the 911, Testarossa, SL etc, they are all significantly slower. Seems although the SC gets a bad rap for too much lux and not enough go, it can still play with the big boys Standing the test of time better than cars that claim sport is their business.
