I know this is a silly question.
my wife will be the driver of the SC, we have a kid 18 months. so, if we gonna bring the kid out with us in the summer time, she will be in the back.
Is there anyone ever tried to put the child seat in back of the SC?
how to deal with it?
Thanks

Yes You Can!
I successfully put a Recaro ProSport car seat behind the passenger seat using the latch system, with the front passenger seat way WAY forward!
My 2 year old son fell asleep (front facing) on the freeway with the top down.
Make sure you put the top down BEFORE you install the car seat!

Not silly at all...and it is covered in your owners manual. For example in this link:http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdriver...html&locale=en to the 2006 owners manual, skip down to page number 60 and it's all covered.

I have two kids, and yes, you can put car seat in back, BUT the passenger has to be all the way forward and it isn't practical for any length of time or any real use. Think of it as you can take the kid alone, but for three people with any regularity this is not the car. Once you're in booster seats it's easier, but the big car seats are really too big. I have a Britax Roundabout and a Marathon. The marathon doesn't fit at all, the Roundabout is for those "just the two of us" trips I mentioned.

There's a child seat in the back of mine right now. When my 2 1/2 year old rides with me, I put the passenger seat up as far as it can go. There's plenty of room back there (at least in my eyes). I ususally remove the car seat (and the 2 1/2 year old) if there's an adult sitting in the passenger seat. There's not too much room for a passenger with the car seat in the back seat. My 5 year old also rides in the back on a booster seat. The 5 year old actually has more leg room on the booster seat than the 2 1/2 year old does with the car seat.

thanks for the post and the picture.
basically, my understanding is, if my wife dirving the car with the kid, I can just stay home and clean up the kitchen. or, I drive the kid out then my boss stay home to cook ..
