Yes! Come in a little earlier and go to Park Place Lexus...I think their car wash may close at 1 on Saturday though. If not, there is a great car wash at the corner of Park and Preston.

I honestly don't remember what I paid, it was back in 2008. It was definitely reasonable though!

It depends on what part of Houston he is coming from. If he is coming from south (east or west) of Houston like Sugar Land or NASA (Clearlake City), it could easily take 4+ hours.

I live to the south (Pearland). With Plano being to the north of Dallas I figured it would take some extra time. Mapquest

If the weather is good, count another Houston owner in. Sounds like a great road trip, maybe Houston needs our own meet?

BUMP!!! This is one week away - just in case anyone missed it:

Saturday May 7th 4:00 pm at the Brick House Tarvern/Plano, TX. Address for it is:

Brickhouse Tavern & Tap
4900 W Park Blvd
Plano, TX 75093
(972) 596-0916

It's on the southeast corner of Park and Preston. We'll park in the parking lot where the red X is (east of the restaurant) and if for some reason it's full, we'll move to the blue X (south of the restaurant).

Some quick thoughts on Saturday:

1. I'll contact the manager @ Brick House and see if we can get any specials.
I'm hopeful they'll welcome us being there.

2. The Kentucky Derby is at 5:24pm CT. Coverage starts @ 4pm.
For those who love the classic spring race, there may be a time out.
