Default Super Saturday Starbucks Run and Mini Car Show!

I hit the motherload yesterday. Was out and about in my SC and ran into about 5-6 SC's in Dallas while it was 90 and sunny on a beautiful Saturday!

I happened to stumble across a mini car show in Addison (suburb north of Dallas) with some classics you all might like.

How about this Lambo just parked outside Pappadeaux seafood restaurant?

My favorite SC of all time: The 2007 PB...so rare...if I owned her I would call her Candy for candy cane. Such a beautiful car!!!! At Costco believe it or not!
LOL

Here are some SC's and the lambo first....

Looks like a great morning. I particularly like the 64 ford convert and the 65 mustang. As a junior in high school, I went in to a new car dealer and got a price on a 66 stang with every option on it for $2600-NEW! Of course I was dreaming-I had as much of a chance as coming up with 2600 as I would 26K back in those days. Went back to my 61 buick convert and went home. The buick I bought for $250 and had payments! These days I can't think of a convertible I'd rather have than my SC.

Great pics droptop. Reminds me I need to get out to cars and coffee soon-been a while.

John-this one is for you...a rare Del Sol! Can't tell if it was a SI or not-one wheel is a SI wheel, but the other who knows. Looks like it was a trade in. Great project car! Fun unique cars. Makes me miss some of my alternate top cars like the 300ZX t-tops or my supra turbo targa. I don't know why, but I like targa tops.

Yep-that del sol looks familiar. had an 93 S model that got 40 mpg. Isn't that what a prius get (lol). wasn't that slow with the 5 speed either. Then came my black 95 with an automatic-had to be an auto because of my back surgery. Missed the 5-sp so much I bought another 93 with 5-sp in the bright green. Had those 2 sol together for 10/8 years and sold the two of them for $500 less than I paid for them-now that depreciation I can live with. Loved that green color. Also had a '86 300 zx with t-tops. They were all fun cars-The SC beats them all. Certainly the roof is much easier to deal with. Can you imagine the targa top after back surgery? GOOD TIMES!!!

I didn't comment on the other sweet classics...early 70's (might have been a 74 SS) Nova, Smokey and the Bandit 6.6L Trans-Am Firebird circa 1982....sweet 72 Ford Bronco the original mini-ute, smaller SUV! LOL How about that gold camaro? Nice huh??? I missed a few cars leaving as we pulled in...they had a split window vette and a mid 50's vette as well as a 55 Bel Aire and a 57 Chevy in my favorite turquoise blue with white top

I had that same 64 and in the same color, just not the droptop!! Had a 390 Police Interceptor in it and was fast, fast, fast!!

TOXIC

On another look at that car it is not a 64. The 64 had rubber bumper stops on the front bumper. Must be a 65 or a 63 or possibly a different package than my 64. I really am suprised I noticed that!!

Wow...what a small world! Actually you and my dad should debate what year, because he was saying it was a 64 because that was his first car but the owner wasn't there to answer the question. Another owner of the Mustang (the red one in the picture) said he THOUGHT it was a 64 but who knows. Also could have been a 64 with a different bumper for the restoration? Could it have been a different package? Not sure. Let's say it was a 63-65 Very cool that you and my dad had the same car. My dad had the convertible.
