Default Will SC430 tires be OK on other models??

I know you guys have some issues in terms of putting new tires on your 430's because of the run flat sensor.

Now lets say I put a set of SC430 rims and tires on my SC400....would I have any similar issues? I believe if someone sold me their set of rims and tires that the sensors would still be on the tires....so that wouldnt cause anything weird on my 400 even though my 400 doesnt even have the sensor system?

Default well...

Although it will NOT cause you any problems whatsoever, it will NOT give you the advance notice of loosing air so you could technically have a flat and not even know it. The side walls on those are sturdy enough to drive a while without air (hence the term run-flat). ....so my advise would be to work into your routine checking the tire pressures at each wheel whenever you fill up on a tank of gas.

BUT I will NOT cause any interference with your car if that is all you are worried about..

I also agree the run flat tires aren't that bad on the GS400.. The ride isn't as harsh as on the SC430 but overall its not as good as regular tires.. Just my 2 cents!

I bought myself sc430 wheels for my infiniti j30, theyre too wide. its sucks. Im gonna put them on ebay soon, only one has 2 or so scratches on the center cap that can be polished out or something. I only opened one, the restare still in boxes. I think they have like 200 miles on them. pm me if any of you are interested. No tires, i returned the tires i bought to tirerack.
