Default new center caps for our SC430!!!

Yes, It's true! I ran out to my local dealer just now and sure enough, page 39 has a nice photo of the 'wheel conversion kit' It is basically a modified center cap to show off the 5 spokes!

...of course my dealer has ZERO information on it so cost and availability is unknown at this point!

I wonder if we can organize a group by to save money when they become available!!!!!

I called my parts guy regarding the same issue and he doesn't know anything about it. But i'm definitely in for a group buy on that. But i would need mine chrome. Does anyone know how much that will cost and who does it?

Yeah, Gene ... I know what you mean. Years ago, riding to karate practice on a balloon-wheel bicycle I cobbled together from pieces I found in the attic of my rented house's garage, I stopped at an auto dealership wearing only shorts and a T-Shirt .. um ... no socks either.

I looked at a car and a salesman came over to me and said, "Are you sure you can afford this?"

I don't think a jury would have convicted me for what I wanted to do to that rectal orifice.

Default hmmmm

you can always try to order a brochure from the lexus.com website too? My Illinois dealer had them and handed me one without a problem..

BUT my parts guy said he called to the central dist. center and was told Jan or Feb for availability and pricing...

I want a set myself when they become available so whoever has a good relationship/connection with their dealer on 'group' pricing, please let us know!

Actually here in S. Cal when you ask for a brochure they give you the 2003. The only modification I could see are the wheels.

Some dealers here are starting to get the 2003 and they discount around $1200.

I ended up with a 2002 model since the final price was better and they had the color I wanted (white/saddle).

Ok guys I have a call into Steve Ganz in regards to the wheel cover upgrade and if the part exists then he will be happy to organize a group buy as long as product is available.. When I know more I will be happy to add to this thread with pricing and such..

Yeah, Larry, and the back wheel rubbed so hard against the fender that it gave me some additional exercise. Pedaling that monster was a hell of a workout.

In the winter, of course, I drove my car. They didn't make chains for bicycle tires.

sorry, I don't have a scanner otherwise I'd have posted it by now..

BUT don't worry, it seems we can't even buy the upgrade until Jan or Feb of next year so you'll see it before anyone can buy it anyway
