Default Just got my sc430 and loving it

So last night i took deliver of my sc430 black on saddel . All i got to say is wow . All i thought about lexus was wrong its an awsome car to drive. Ill post pics up later when i have my camera. It needs a n alignment and oil change other than that its a great car. I got a question. When i am in regular drive and i hit the gas there is a small hesitation but when i flip the button to power it more responsive. Is that commen?

Yes, ECON is for better gas milliage and PWR, is for more aggresive shift points!

Enjoy!

Yes, it all normal. The SC tend to be a little hesitate at some point....or maybe I'm too used to manual transmission.

Congrat to your new ride.....summer is just aroudn the corner!!

Remember you can disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes and then RE TRAIN the ECUs to your style of driving.

Congrats on your new car and hope that you have many topless days of driving!

Also, rather than disconnect your battery, this is another way to reset your ECU without losing your seat and stereo settings:

1. Get in your car and insert key. (It doesn't matter if you close the door or not.)

2. Turn the key to the on (not start) position.

3. Press the gas pedal to the floor.

4. Hold the pedal to the floor for five seconds, then turn the key back to the "off" position (don't remove the key), then release the gas pedal.

5. Wait 2 minutes.

6. Remove key.

7. Done

This was originally posted by Harold. I have tried and it does work!

Here are the mods that I've done on my 02. This was a thread I posted last weekend. I strong recommend Luxlink before they end production. Here the the (4) videos:
