Skip the spare and just get one of these:

http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accesso...2011/4343.html

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...ility-kit.html

The F-Sport Onboard Tire Repair System (OTRS) is designed to repair punctures of up to 1/4 inch diameter in the tread area of the tire. Features:
* Unique integrated tire sealant cartridge and compressor in one easy to use unit o With up to 36 PSI, the OTRS injects sealant and inflates the tire simultaneously
* Lighted pressure gauge
* Non-toxic TPMS-compliant sealant
* Powered by any 12-volt outlet in vehicle
* The storage bag is made from durable canvas with an embroidered F-Sport logo. The bag also has two wide Velcro mounting strips to help ensure the kit remains in place during normal driving
The tire repair is temporary. Though the tire will last for up to 500 miles, the intention is to allow the motorist to quickly and safely complete the repair, get back on the road, and proceed as soon as possible to an authorized tire repair facility to have the tire permanently repaired.

I also want a spare. I am debating if I should buy a small donut or just buy an extra full sized tire and keep it at home.

I believe that there are a few threads on this. As I remember, Supra TT, Camry, RX8 and possibly some others were mentioned. You can pick these up quite cheaply on the used market.

Bought a 2005 SC430 recently and of course it didn't come with a spare. I figured I would get a spare and was shocked at the cost. Decided instead to get roadside assistance as a cheap alternative (only $1 per month from my insurance company). I'm still a little paranoid, so I purchased the Tire Repair System today. Hopefully I will never need it. Thanks CL for the big discount! I was a little worried about it since the description stated 2006 plus, but Sewell responded to my inquiry and stated it would work on any model lexus. I still may get the spare at some point, but I hope I can avoid it.

I quit looking for a spare.

Storage area is more important for me so I finally bought a Lexus mobility (tire repair kit) Kit. It is down to $66 now @ Sewell. Orig $99, then $77.
