I was looking on Cargurus and just happened to stumble on an SC430 base @ 20,000 miles less but it was already on hold. It wasnt until I stumbled upon this car in the back collecting dust. Here are some more clearer pictures during the day. And dont worry I was going to renew my registration and get custom plates later on.
One of the problem with my silver beast is that it doesnt seem to shine like those darker colours. I have a matador red IS250 that looks so good when polished. I feel that polishing the silver SC has little reward. Perhaps I just need to find a polish that works for the colour.
Hey everyone! Just picked this up from my 87-year-old dad, who prefers driving his 1986 Ford F150 step side pickup. He asked if I wanted it, and I said I would pick it up soon. Well, my Accord threw its timing chain, so I decided to fly to Covington, Louisiana and drive the car to Colorado Springs last weekend. I have to say, these are pretty neat cars!
I see the owner of the black and red one has found the only drink you can put in the cup holders: a 12 oz can.
That is just outside of Amarillo, Texas on FM 1061. It is quite desolate! I must not have been steady with the cell phone in the low light. It's a tad soft in focus.

I am brand new to LEXUS and certainly SC, I purchased online (and have yet to see or drive it) a 03 SC 430, Blue with 130k , no accidents, lot of service records. The interior is a orange brown looking color, not sure about that just yet ….but excited and terrified. I have seen after purchase tons of reviews stating bad cars and even a few videos saying the worst card ever made. I am new to LEXUS but have to think these are haters and BS.
Congratulations on your SC purchase. According to all of us on this forum, what you read is from haters and BS. The more you get to know your car the more you will absolutely love it. Guaranteed and welcome to a fine and helpful group of like minded people.

some internal light system comes on during start up ( have a remote for it but not sure how to get it to work)
you can see the Lexus wheels on this do not look like the wheels that came with the 03 , but a Lexus wheel
it has a passenger air bag front/side air bag system. That I think may of been installed and not standard ????
dual cameras in the back ( not sure why two)
noticed a stabilizer bar, thick one under the hood (this standard?)
where I was hesitant, with mileage at 130k buying blindly .. I am happy I did it, this rides great ..
