Hi VVTiBob

The weather here at the moment is unbelievable, it's been in the mid 80's today. Unheard of for April in London. Great cruising weather for the Easter Holidays.

Unfortunately we have storms this evening and the long range forecast for the Royal Wedding next week is not so good!

Best regards

Steve

Just like you said if you have a V 8 it should sound like a V 8.

We can not complain about the heat here in Stockholm - true convertible weather.

Hi Staffan

Here are some pictures of my exhaust installation.
Chelo, the guy who made the exhaust for me knows his stuff. He mocked up several different mufflers until we got the sound just the way I wanted it.

Lots of talk on this Forum about exhausts, most people are concerned about making it too loud or about whether you can hear the noise inside the car.
In my opinion, if I have spent all that money on an exhaust, I want to be able to hear it, so yes you can hear it inside the car, but it is perfectly acceptable. In fact I would rather listen to the sound of the exhaust than the radio/cd player.

Best regards

Steve

Thanks Steve for this pictures, I can imagine that you have a really nice sound with this exhaust system, I will take these pictures on 5 May and show them to those who will modify my system, nice to see that it was made of stainless steel.

Hello again, this week my lexus visited of one of Sweden's most famous car builder "Classe" for a varnish treatment, Unfortunately, it turns out that my Lexus has been repainted on both sides, (and the name of the colour is not Champain beige as i previouse wrote it is "Egyptian Sand Pearl" sorry ) those who did it were careless when they masked the engine hood, roof and boot lid, unfortunately there was paint splash over these surfaces, lucky Classe said, that my car had not been in any car crash. He promised to fix the areas that he was not happy within a month - at no cost, which he said that "no car leaves my garage unless I'm 100% satisfied with the results". Here are some pictures, I promised Classe not show any pictures of the car when it is absolutely ready yet.

Congrat's Staffan on your beautiful ride! Love the colour and those wheels are kick ***, just the right amount of bling. Good luck with your exhaust upgrade, I would like to upgrade my exhaust for a little more rumble but I have the polished stainless Blitz system and love the way it looks and it sounds "Ok" but it's just too quiet. I'm sure you will love your SC like the rest of us on this forum, these cars are just too much fun! The folks here are a wealth of information so don't hesitate to ask questions. Like the rest of us you will want to drive it top down when ever the weather permits. Just got my baby back on the road today after a terrible long winter!!

Thank you får your kind words, I agree "just the right amount of bling" for a 50+ guy . Unfortunately, we have laws in this country how mutch it may sound, therefore we chose a simple solotion to the exaust system, picures coming soon. Thanks Steve your pictures were helpful for my guys at Uppsala Avgasteknik, (Exhaust Technology)

Great job Staffan, looks great! Love the tips you chose, those look "Bad ***". I'm sure the new system sounds sweet, I'm jealous! Now you will gave to get used to everybody drooling over your car, but that is a sacrifice us SC owners have to live with. lol
