Thanks Steve, your photos were very helpful, now they did not have to reinvent the wheel, just copy your modifications.

mdpuff, I get many puzzled looks among other things, this model really stands out in Sweden, the funny thing is that the Lexus people like the sound.
Lexus in Sweden is associated with wealthy older men like me - not.
They become quite surprised at the sound of this 4.3 liter V 8.

And so to last week's order from England

Unfortunately, it has turned up some problems with my SC, one is that the roof did not want to go up, I have been told by Lexus that error code 2510 means that an engine has broken down, but it turns out that someone screwed on the settings of the entire roof mechanism, might have something up with error below

The second is that it experienced a crash and right rear wheels is too much toe in and even too much caster, and it can not be adjusted, it has unfortunately been repaired by "amateurs" "quote" "L" people.

Hea a nice weekend to you all.

Hello again,

Unfortunately there has been some inconvenience with my SC wherefor I've been forced to spend most of my time trying to withdraw the puchase. Yesterday, the car company promised me they would buy the car back. The reason for that beeing that the car had suffered some major damage due to an earlier crash, which had not been documented. The crash made the rear wheel suspension crooked. Unfortunately, the reparation of the wheel suspension was done incorrectly and it would cost aproximately 20,000 USD to fix it. The car company felt that the car was not worth repairing and therefor they decided to repurchase the SC.

I will buy this car, a pebble beach edition 2007, on monday (that is if my friend at Lexus gives it the go ahead). The milage is 26025 miles and there has been one owner - a corporate in Georgia.

If you haven't noticed, the pictures of the Lexus are taken at the same location as my previous Volvo C70 (page 1). The company selling the SC is located in the same municipality I live in.

Fingers crossed! I'll get back to you with more information during monday.

Cheers!

I can tell you the front bumper has been repainted if it is not a new bumper.
The pb badges on the front fenders are not at the right place.

Wow! What a headache, especially after you put some work into the first one. I am glad they are making it right and buying it back and my fingers are crossed for the 2007 PB. In my opinion it is an upgrade!!! I am such a sucker for the red and white combo **drools**.

Thanks friends, yes I also hope that it will be no major issues with the car.
"talewang" I can imagine that they moved down the PB badges not getting too close to the turning lights. I see what you mean, its repainted beacuause its not black bye the fog lights and the area under the radiator grille ???

Sharp eyes

So the front fenders blinker lights were added by your dealer?

man, I would have just added the 09+ side view mirrors that come with built-in led signal light and keep the fenders and PB badages original.

your so right, it would have been much nicer. and yes they were added to be approvet, its a Swedish law for modern cars.
Do you see something else that does not look right, I do not think the know what a PB should look like att Lexus here in Sweden, this model was only ment for the US market or

Staffan,
I'm glad to hear that the dealer is going to try to make things right with you. I hope it all goes smoothly. Make sure the dealer does a thorough checkout on the car you decide to pursue, both in repair history and having a mechanic give it the once over. Be sure to give us an update on Monday (or whenever you get to finalize the deals).

Thanks Harold for your kind words.

The grey SC has been ownd from the beginning by Kaiser cars, in that case, I know that it is more or less a band new car.

The PB Ed. I bought some information from Carfax, and it has no history in the US that it had experiences an accident. It has been owned by a company i Georgia for 4 yeras and 6 months, there after it has been sold to Sweden last summer.the price tag was then 67.000 USD ( to day 51.000 USD).

On monday I will tell you which one of the two I bought

Is this Georgia the country or the state in the US?
